Medical Call

An individual reported that while bending beneath a desk to unplug an electrical cord, the complainant experienced back pain. Medical attention was refused. This was reported for documentation purposes only. #I-2023-009224 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

Police responded to East Hall for a fire alarm activation. A smoke detector was being worked on which set off the alarm. The Fire Department arrived on scene and deemed the building safe. #I-2023-009146 – Closed C.

Suspicious Person

An individual was issued a Defiant Trespass notice after a number of complaints were received regarding his troublesome interactions with staff on campus. #I-2023-008974 – Closed A.

Medical Call

An individual reported to Police that he twisted his left knee while running. The patient complained of minor knee pain. An ice pack was applied to the area. The patient refused medical transportation. #I-2023-008966 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

Police responded to Main Hall for a fire alarm activation. There was no obvious smoke or fire present. The Fire Department arrived on scene and deemed the building safe. It appeared a smoke detector head was in need of replacement. #I-2023-008678 – Closed C.

Medical Call

Police responded to an individual who became ill after a morning class. Medical attention was offered but the patient declined. The patient was transported off campus via a family member.  #I-2023-008419 – Closed C.

Police were dispatched to West Hall for an individual experiencing a sudden rapid heart rate. EMS was called to the scene to assess the patient. #I-2023-008347 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Investigation at scene revealed Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot 9 when the owner observed moderate body damage to the driver side rear bumper.  Vehicle #1 was unoccupied and no other party reported the incident.  The body damage had fresh paint and scratches along with a moderate dent. #I-2023-008114 – Closed C.

Emotional Distress

Police assisted in the aid/transport of an individual seeking help with a mental health issue. #I-2023-007847 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

The driver of Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot #8 from approximately 10:00 am through 1:52 pm. Upon returning to the vehicle, the driver found that it had been struck resulting in moderate damage to the rear left bumper and a broken left rear taillight. Fire Alarm

Police were dispatched to the College Center for a fire alarm activation. The building was evacuated. An oven in the kitchen of Room 200A set off the alarm. The Fire Department responded to the scene, the alarm was reset and the occupants were allowed back in the building. #I-2023-007415 – Closed C.

Police were dispatched to the Dental Hygiene Department on the report of an individual who was pricked with an anesthetic needle while disassembling a syringe. The patient declined medical assistance. #I-2023-007024 – Closed  C.

Police were dispatched to the HCD Culinary room in College Center on the report of an individual who sustained a laceration. Arrest

An individual was placed under arrest for violating a defiant trespass. The subject was found in College Center after hours. During the investigation, the subject became combative with police. The subject was processed and released on a summons. #I-2023-006686 – Closed A.

Medical Call

Police were dispatched to IRC on the report of an individual experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction. The patient had visible signs of a rash on the hands and stated the rash was also on other areas of her body. The patient refused further medical attention. #I-2023-006597 – Closed C.

Criminal Mischief

An individual parked his vehicle in Lot #6 between 12:30 pm and 3:20 pm. Upon returning to the vehicle, he discovered a long scratch on the left rear quarter panel.  There are no known suspects or witnesses. #I-2023-006404 – Closed C.

While on patrol, Police observed an audible fire alarm sounding from College Center, specifically PAC 108. The building was evacuated. There was no visible sign of fire. Aggressive Driver Report

An individual reported to Police that while starting to back out of a parking spot, an individual sped up and then stopped behind the complainant’s vehicle. The subject  approached the driver’s side window and began to yell aggressively at the victim, then departed the scene. #I-2023-005576 – Closed C.

Police responded to South Hall on the report of an individual who was experiencing dizziness. Upon arrival, they met with the patient who stated feeling dizzy, nauseous and feverish. Vehicle #1 was attempting to make a left turn onto Otlowski Drive from Lot #1B when it struck the curb causing two tires to blowout and damage to the undercarriage.  No injuries were reported. #I-2023-004170 – Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was heading north in Lot #6 when it struck Vehicle #2 on the driver’s side door. Vehicle #2 sustained significant damage to both the driver’s side door and rear door. No injuries were reported. #I-2023-003883 – Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was traveling south on College Drive East attempting to make a left turn into parking Lot #6, when it struck a fixed light pole that was located on the sidewalk. No injuries were reported. #I-2023-003849 – Closed C.
