Aggressive Driver Report

An individual reported to Police that while starting to back out of a parking spot, an individual sped up and then stopped behind the complainant’s vehicle. The subject  approached the driver’s side window and began to yell aggressively at the victim, then departed the scene. #I-2023-005576 – Closed C.

Medical Call

Police responded to South Hall on the report of an individual who was experiencing dizziness. Upon arrival, they met with the patient who stated feeling dizzy, nauseous and feverish. The patient declined medical treatment and was transported off campus by a family member. #I-2023-005286 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 was attempting to make a left turn onto Otlowski Drive from Lot #1B when it struck the curb causing two tires to blowout and damage to the undercarriage.  No injuries were reported. #I-2023-004170 – Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was heading north in Lot #6 when it struck Vehicle #2 on the driver’s side door. Vehicle #2 sustained significant damage to both the driver’s side door and rear door. No injuries were reported. #I-2023-003883 – Closed C.

A male student was allegedly harassing a female student by constantly reaching out to her on social media and through phone calls. The female made attempts to discontinue the contacts, but to no avail. Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 was exiting Lot #1 when it struck Vehicle #2 which was traveling southbound on College Drive East.  Vehicle #1 sustained minor scratches to the left side front fender. Vehicle #2 sustained minor scratches and scuff on the right rear quarter panel. No injuries were reported. #I-2023-002880.

Arrest

At approximately 0028 hours, police came upon an individual inside the College Center. During the encounter, the individual was elusive regarding her identity and reasoning for being inside the building at that late hour. During the course of questioning, the suspect became combative and assaulted the officer. #I-2023-002849 – Closed A.

Vehicle #1 sustained moderate damage to the passenger side rear door and passenger side wheel well when the driver attempted to circumvent around a standing structure. No injuries were reported. #I-2023-000968 – Closed C.

Criminal Mischief

After becoming involved in a altercation, an individual threw a rock resulting in two panes of glass breaking on an NJ Transit bus which was located at the bus stop on the Edison campus. The subject was arrested for criminal mischief, and additionally,  was issued a defiant trespass notice. #I-2023-000202 – Closed A.

Medical Call

An individual reported that on 12/19/22 at approximately 5:15 pm, in a poorly lit area of Lot #8, she fell on uneven pavement resulting in an abrasion to the right knee, soreness to the right shoulder, right wrist and left ankle. The patient declined medical attention at this time. #I-2022-020552 – Closed C.

Arrest

Police responded to the men’s locker room of the Physical Education Center on the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, they were met with a known individual. The suspect was found to have warrants out for his arrest and was processed. #I-2022-020097 – Closed A.

Motor Vehicle Stop

Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop, it was determined that the license plate on the vehicle was fictitious and not registered. The vehicle was impounded and the driver issued two summonses. #I-2022-019803 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

The driver of Vehicle #2 was traveling westbound on Otlowski Drive when it was struck by Vehicle #1 which was merging onto the roadway.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. The driver of Vehicle #1 complained on knee pain but refused medical attention.
