Medical Call

Police responded to Raritan Hall for an individual experiencing an allergic reaction. The patient sustained hives along the collar bone, neck line, left wrist and elbow. EMS treated the patient at the scene. #24MC00017 – Closed C.

Police responded to South Hall for an individual who was experiencing lightheadedness. EMS evaluated the patient who declined further medical attention. #24MC00016 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Police responded to Parking Lot #6A regarding a motor vehicle crash. The operator of the vehicle stated that while attempting to park, she struck a parked vehicle. #24MC00015 – Closed C.

Possible Stalking

An individual reported to police that a male student was making unwanted conversation with the individual on multiple occasions. The victim did not want any action taken at this time, but was advised that should things escalate, police would provide further assistance. #24MC00014 – Closed C.

Medical Call

Police responded to Edison Hall to assist an individual who, after feeling dizzy, fell out from his desk and struck his head. A bandage was applied to a small laceration on the patient’s forehead. EMS arrived on scene and transported the patient to a local hospital. #24MC00012 – Closed C.

Medical Call

An individual was experiencing shortness of breath and some tightness in the chest due to an asthmatic condition. Oxygen was provided and EMS arrived on scene to evaluate the patient. The patient refused further medical treatment. #24MC00011 – Closed C.

Damaged Property

Police responded to the PEC on the report of damaged property. Upon arrival, MC Athletic personnel advised that during baseball practice, a thrown pitch bounced into the bottom panel of a door resulting in the glass being shattered. Facilities personnel were notified. #24MC00010 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

An audible fire alarm was detected coming from College Center. The building was safely evacuated. The Fire Department arrived and after checking the building, found it to be safe and allowed the occupants back in. Shortly after, a second alarm sounded but it was determined to be an accidental initiation. #24MC00007 – Closed C.

Defiant Trespass

Police responded to College Center on the report of individuals smoking cannabis on the Cafeteria A patio in violation of the no smoking policy. One student was issued a college summons. Additionally, there were two individuals who were not associated with the college who were issued defiant trespass notices. #24MC00006 – Closed A.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 reversed out of a parking space in Lot #13 striking Vehicle #2 which was stopped, waiting to pick up a passenger. #24MC00005 – Closed C.

Police responded to Crabiel Hall for an individual who had collapsed during class, possibly striking her head in doing so. Police responded to College Drive East, north of Alumni Drive, for the report of a motor vehicle accident with an airbag deployment. An individual was experiencing pain and discomfort in the left forearm and having difficulty making a fist after moving a filing cabinet. The patient advised that he would be following up with an evaluation by a physician. #23MC00196 – Closed C.

Police were flagged down by a student in Parking Lot #1 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported on scene and all persons involved refused medical attention. #23MC00193 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

Police responded to College Center for an active fire alarm. Upon arrival, police entered the restroom where the alarm was coming from and detected an odor of a vape pen which likely caused the alarm activation. The Fire Department arrived on scene and reset the alarm. #23MC00191 – Closed C.

A individual fell and hit her face against a filing cabinet resulting in bruising/swelling to the left cheek. The patient was given an ice pack prior to police arrival. EMS was called to the scene. The patient refused further medical attention. #23MC00187 – Closed C.

Police responded to the area outside the Bookstore to assist a female who had injured her back. The patient stated hurting her back due to a heavy book bag. EMS evaluated the patient who refused further medical attention. #23MC00186 – Closed C.

While on patrol, Police heard an audible fire alarm coming from College Center.
