Medical Call

Police observed an individual nauseous and alert but not able to verbally respond. A family member arrived on scene and advised Police that the patient was on medication to treat a medical condition. EMS responded to the scene and transported the patient to a local hospital. #2023-00204857 – Closed C.

Fraudulent Activity

An individual reported to police fraudulent transactions on his debit card. The victim was advised to contact his financial institution to report such activity. #2023-00202066 – Closed C.

Disturbance

An individual reported to police that while in class a student slapped him on the back of his neck. The victim did not wish to file a criminal complaint. This case has been forwarded for Code of Student Conduct violation. #2023-00201271 – CSC.

Police responded to Main Hall on the report of a student who was ill. The patient stated feeling anxious during class but subsequently refused medical assistance. #2023-00198726 – Closed C.

Solicitation

Police responded to Main Hall regarding a complaint of 2 individuals asking for money.  The suspects were both male, one wearing a black hoodie and the other a green hoodie. Medical Call

Police responded to Raritan Hall on the report of an individual who had an ankle sprain. The patient stated having moderate pain and bruising around the ankle. EMS arrived on scene for further medical assistance. The patient declined further treatment. #2023-00196298 – C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot 6A facing South when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. Moderate damage was sustained to the rear left bumper. The rear left tail light sustained significant damage. #2023-00195392 – C.

While on campus, an individual requested medical assistance for an injury which had been sustained off campus.  EMS transported the patient to a local hospital.  #2023-00195252 – Closed C.

An individual reported to police that his vehicle had been hit while it was parked in Lot #6A. No injuries were reported. #2023-00195246 – Closed C.

Medical Call

Police were dispatched to Edison Hall on the report of a sick individual. The patient stated that while waiting for class to start, he began to feel nauseas. The patient declined EMS services. #2023-00195103 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Investigation at scene revealed V1 was negotiating a turn onto College Dr East when it crashed into a curb. V1 sustained significant front end body damage and was inoperable and removed by Taylors Towing. There were no injuries reported. #2023-00191038 – Closed C.

Theft

Police responded to the Bookstore regarding an individual who left the store without paying for the items in his possession. Police made contact with the suspect who admitted to leaving the store without paying. Subsequently, he returned to the Bookstore to pay for the stolen items. #2023-00189963 – Closed A.

Police responded to the Johnson Learning Center on the report of an individual who was feeling faint. The patient was dealing with a known medical issue. EMS was called to the scene. The patient declined transport to a local hospital. #2023-00185746 – Closed.

Police responded to College Center on the report of an individual experiencing chest pains. EMS arrived on scene to evaluate the patient. The patient refused additional medical help and was transported off campus via a family member. #2023-00184675 – Closed C.

Suspicious Vehicle

Three individuals reported that while walking by Otlowski Drive and the Edison Magnet School, they came upon a suspicious white van. When passing by, they heard banging on the window and honking. No interaction had taken place. No description of the occupants of the van was provided. #2023-00183820 – Closed C.

Police responded to West Hall on the report of an individual who was bleeding. Upon arrival, the patient was alert and conscious. The patient had a prior cut that was reopened when his band aid came off. #2023-00179430 – Closed C.

Careless Driving

Police responded to Lot #3 regarding a motor vehicle which was doing donuts in the parking lot. There was no damage to College property or other vehicles in the lot. The driver was issued a summons for careless driving. #2023-00179355 – Closed A.

Police responded to Main Hall on the report of a female who fell. The patient missed a step and fell causing injury to her right forearm and her left knee. The patient was transported to a local hospital. #2023-00177772

Fire Alarm

Police responded to a fire alarm activation in Center IV. Upon arrival, neither smoke nor fire was present. The Fire Department arrived on scene and deemed a malfunction of the smoke detector located in the basement as the cause for the alarm. The alarm was reset. Motor Vehicle Crash

Fire Alarm

Police responded to a fire alarm activation in the Studio Theater. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. The Fire Department arrived on scene and after checking the Studio Theater, College Center and Performing Arts Center concluded it was an accidental fire alarm activation.
