Police responded to South Hall in response to a report of a female patient experiencing an allergic reaction. The patient was not having trouble breathing and had taken an OTC for the reaction. EMS arrived on scene and provided additional assistance. The patient declined further medical attention. #24MC00175 – Closed C.

Disruptive Individual

An individual was issued a defiant trespass notice after causing an incident in the Library. #24MC00173 – Closed A.

Burglary Alarm

Police responded to the Edison Academy Magnet School for an activated burglary alarm. Upon arrival, there were no signs nor evidence of doors or building property being tampered with. Medical Call

Police responded to Crabiel Hall for an individual who had slipped and sustained injury to the right knee and foot. An ice pack was provided to help alleviate the swelling. EMS evaluated the patient who then refused further medical treatment. #24MC00170 – Closed C.

Police responded to the IRC for a report of an individual who had fallen out of a chair and had gone unconscious. Upon arrival, Police assisted the patient into a chair who was then assessed by EMS. The patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. #24MC00169 – Closed C.

Noise Complaint

Police responded to South Hall for a noise complaint. The complainant stated that there was a loud party in the hallway while classes were in session and mentioned a verbal dispute with a male. Police responded to the area of Center 1 for an individual requesting an ice pack for a sustained injury. The patient advised that she was struck with a hose that left a red mark/bruising on her abdomen. Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 was traveling south on College Drive East when the vehicle pulled to the right, striking Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the left side front bumper and the driver side airbag was deployed. Vehicle #2 sustained minor dent to the rear bumper. No injuries were reported. #24MC00162 – Closed C.

An individual took a misstep and fell, striking her forehead against a wall in the Library while also sustaining a minor injury to the left hand. The patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. #24MC00161 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

Police responded to Chambers Hall for an activated fire alarm. MC Facilities Department had installed a replacement smoke detector that was later determined to be defective. Medical Call

Police responded to the Instructional Resource Center for an individual who was not feeling well. The patient was experiencing signs of possible dehydration. EMS assessed the patient, who then refused further medical assistance. #24MC00158 – Closed C.

Theft

An individual reported to police that while parked in Lot 6 someone removed antifreeze, motor oil, a can opener and a social security card from the vehicle. The victim contacted the Social Security Administration regarding the stolen card. #24MC00154 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle #1 was proceeding straight on College Drive East and Woodbridge Avenue, when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which changed lanes without warning. No injuries were reported. #24MC00153 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm

Police and Fire Department responded to Center 4 for an activated fire alarm. The alarm was activated in-error and reset. After a safety inspection of the building, it was deemed safe to occupy. #24MC00148 – Closed C.

Arrest

Subsequent to conducting a motor vehicle stop for an improper U-Turn, a driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The individual was processed and released on his own recognizance. #24MC00142 – Closed A.

Police responded to South Hall for an individual who had fallen. Upon arrival, the patient stated feeling a sharp pain in the left leg causing the patient to fall and hit both the left hip and her head on the floor. EMS provided additional assistance.
