Motor Vehicle Crash

Police were dispatched to College Drive East/Lot #4 regarding a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, the driver stated that while negotiating a curve in the road, a deer jumped in front of the vehicle. In attempting to avoid the animal, the vehicle struck the curb, left the roadway, re-entered the roadway and struck the curb again causing the airbags to deploy. A passenger complained of ear pain on the right side of the head. EMS was called to the scene and transported the patient to a local hospital. The driver was issued a summons for an expired registration.  #2023-00232367 – Closed C.
