Fraud

An individual received an email regarding a false claim for a  job opening for someone with computer skills providing a hyperlink in which to apply. The email was received on an active student email account. The victim applied providing personal information and received a large check. The victim became suspicious and reported the incident to MCPD. #I-2022-018517 – Closed C.
