We offer academic advising to help students choose the right major and classes for their career goals.
New Brunswick Center
The Middlesex College New Brunswick Center serves the greater New Brunswick community, offering day, evening and Saturday classes.
We are located within walking distance of a NJ Transit Train station and the Rutgers New Brunswick campus, as well as medical and pharmaceutical giants such as RWJ Barnabas Health and Johnson & Johnson.

January 21 – May 7
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The New Brunswick Center staff can help you apply for college, review your transcripts, and guide you should you need additional testing.
Account Services
The New Brunswick Center staff can assist you to complete your financial aid application, and to check on your financial aid status for FAFSA.
Financial Aid / Scholarship Assistance
Get help filling out your FAFSA or your Alternative Financial Aid application (for NJ Dreamer/DACA students).
Access to On-Site Computers
Students can easily access a computer at the Center via a reservation.
New Brunswick Center Club
Club membership provides access to educational, cultural and social activities sponsored by the club.
E.M.P.O.W.E.R.
An after-school college preparation program for area high school students that that includes tutoring, peer mentorship, and in many cases, free college classes.
Pathways Into Health Careers
Supported by Rutgers, Johnson & Johnson, and RWJBarnabas Health, our FREE short-term Boot Camp that offers pathways to careers in health.
Placement Testing
Learn how to prepare for the English as Second Language (ESL) Placement Test and schedule an appointment to take the test.
