Entrance counseling ensures you understand the terms and conditions of your loan and your rights and responsibilities. Entrance Counseling takes about 30 minutes to complete and it must be completed in a single session.
The Master Promissory Note (MPN) is a legal document in which you promise to repay your loan(s) and any accrued interest and fees to the U.S. Department of Education. It also explains the terms and conditions of your loan(s).
Both Entrance Counseling and the MPN will ask you “school information.” Select “New Jersey” as the “School State” and “Middlesex College” as the “School Name.”
Under “Financial Aid” select “Request a New Loan”:

Your loan eligibility is determined by your enrollment intensity, dependency status, and grade level. Please note that your total eligibility may be split between subsidized and unsubsidized loans.
The tables below outline the full-time annual loan limits. Under new federal regulations, students enrolled less than full-time (but at least half-time) will have their loan amounts prorated based on the specific number of Title IV-eligible credits. If applicable, your requested amount will be adjusted to comply with these new proration rules.

The entire Parent PLUS Loan Application process must be completed in a single session. It takes approximately 20 minutes to apply for a parent PLUS loan.
