Through a collaborative partnership with the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center (JDC), we are able to provide College programming to Middlesex JDC residents.
Community Programs
Middlesex College offers programs and services that go well beyond degrees and certificates, and extends to every member of our community.
Our services to the community extend well beyond our campus, and even beyond our academic course offerings. As a college for all, we aim to provide pathways to a college degree to those with the least opportunity to access college programming, such as incarcerated youth. We also connect classroom learning to making a real-world impact through community-engaged learning programs that link course content to addressing community needs and our Dental Hygiene Clinic delivers affordable dental hygiene services to the community.
Community-Engaged Learning
By participating in a project designed collaboratively by faculty and non-profit community partners, students apply what they are studying to solve real-world problems.
Dental Hygiene Clinic
Quality care by dental hygiene students who are directly supervised by licensed dental hygiene faculty are available to the general public for a nominal fee.
