The College’s 55th Commencement ceremony marked the first time since 2019 that College leadership, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests joined students and families under one roof to participate in the most important day of the academic year.
Devanshi Patel of Piscataway, moved to the U.S. from Kenya a year ago and started classes at Middlesex College last summer. This fall, she will continue her studies at Rutgers, where she had been accepted to last year. Instead, she decided to attend Middlesex College, seeking to save costs and for a softer transition to life in America.
Veronica Bonilla of Perth Amboy will be pursuing a bachelor’s and majoring in advertising at Kean University. Her Middlesex College degree is the realization of a dream that began 10 years ago when she first came to the U.S. from Colombia at age 16.
