All dashboard parking permits contain the following: a campus map, an area map and written directions for traveling to Middlesex College.
There may be a number of events taking place on campus, and as we all know, there are a limited number of visitor parking spaces. Therefore, parking arrangements will be made based on the volume of traffic in the nearest parking lot to the specific function which has the least effect on the normal daily operations of the college. At no time will faculty/staff parking spaces be used for event parking. Anyone who will be bringing equipment or supplies to a function must make arrangements with the College Police before unloading or loading vehicles at any building. This should be done by advising visitors to stop at the Gateway building upon arrival at the campus.
Remember that traffic rules and regulations are in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. All vehicles in violation of parking rules and regulations are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
Call the College Police Violation Bureau at extension 3247 for assistance. They will supply you with dashboard parking permits that can be distributed by you to all visitors who will be attending your function prior to the date of the function. These permits will have a validation date and list the location for parking on campus.
Advise them to use the College’s main entrance on Woodbridge Avenue. Once on campus, they should come into the Gateway building to receive a parking pass and directions to building locations. The Traffic Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
