College presidents warn higher education will be out of reach for some if Governor Murphy’s proposed cuts are implemented. Middlesex College business administration student Leslie Bello Rojas is one of thousands of community college students who benefit from state student financial aid, which helps pay for tuition and other necessary expenses like books and laptops. “I really love the fact that I was able to start here at Middlesex College and get an affordable start rather than jumping straight into a four-year school undecided and be more into financial debt than I am now,” Bello Rojas said.
