To better support students with a more well-rounded approach, Middlesex College has named three new assistant deans to lead various aspects of student services at the College.
“The new structure for Student and Enrollment Services Division will allow us to focus on creating pathways for prospective students to enroll, enhance the student experience and increase student success as we move towards a holistic model of student support,” said José Laureano, Executive Dean for Student and Enrollment Services
Delgado will oversee the departments of Academic Advising, Career and Transfer Services, Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), Military and Veterans Services, Accessibility Services, and the new Student Wellness Center.
“I bring a wealth of experience in developing retention initiatives that assist our students to persist to graduation,” said Delgado. “I plan to continue to provide student success support services that engage our students in transformative learning opportunities that empower them to become intellectual scholars, lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and ethical leaders.”
As Assistant Dean for Student Engagement, Hoppie will oversee the departments of Athletics, Civic Engagement & Community Partnerships, and Student Life. Hoppie will lead efforts to increase co-curricular programming and enhance the student experience for Middlesex College students.
“Through collaboration with the talented and dedicated staff at Athletics and Recreation, Civic Engagement and Community Partnerships, and Student Life, Student Engagement aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive college community,” said Hoppie. “Student Engagement departments will offer students experiences and opportunities that will empower them to thrive academically, socially, and personally. I am committed to providing our students with co-curricular experiences and lasting connections like the ones that have personally enriched my educational journey and extended into my post-college life.”
As the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, Rodriguez-Gregory will manage the departments of Admissions & Recruitment, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, K-12 Partnerships, Registrar and Records and Testing.
