Princeton University Transfer Scholars Initiative Information Session

The Transfer Scholars Initiative (TSI) is a summer program for community college students who are considering transfer to selective four-year colleges. Scholars will enroll in a full-time program during the summer in which they will take two Princeton courses at no cost to the student. Transfer Scholars will have the chance to engage with other Princeton faculty, students, and summer programs, and will have access to campus resources comparable to Princeton undergraduates.

This workshop describes the different types of degrees we offer and the transferability of each. Through this workshop, students can learn about resources within and outside of Middlesex College to help guide them through their transfer process and ensure that they are taking the correct courses to reach their transfer and career goals.

Have a major but not sure what career is attainable? Will discuss the various paths and alternate career matches among popular degrees. Will explain not every career choice has a seamless match and steps to take to find an “imperfect match.” Understand transferable skills and how to navigate majors to careers.
