Our team works with you to identify your goals, connect you with resources, navigate challenges, and prepare for your next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interested in becoming a TRIO student? Apply today!<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button btn btn--size-3\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=giXPxQKYNEaxFdVDUTxacGcveXEquz1KvRumi94o_OtURE5QWFgwRjZGOE9USVZJRTk1NVFUMVVNQi4u\">Apply to TRIO<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Am I Eligible?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be eligible for TRIO Student Support Services, students must meet federal citizenship or residency requirements, be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Middlesex College, demonstrate a need for academic support, and meet <strong>at least one<\/strong> of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a <strong>first-generation college student<\/strong> (neither parent\/guardian completed a bachelor\u2019s degree)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet federal <strong>limited-income guidelines<\/strong> (according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.gov\/grants-and-programs\/grants-higher-education\/federal-trio-programs\/federal-trio-programs-current-year-low-income-levels\">federal income guidelines<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a <strong>documented disability<\/strong> (is registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/middlesexcollege.edu\/student-life\/disability-services\/\">Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional citizenship or eligible noncitizen requirements apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Not sure if you qualify? Apply and let our TRIO team help determine your eligibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">TRIO Student Expectations&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once accepted into TRIO Student Support Services, students are expected to remain actively engaged in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TRIO students are expected to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet at least three times a semester with their assigned TRIO advisor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in TRIO workshops and activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilize academic and campus resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the FAFSA each academic year, when applicable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work toward their academic, career, and transfer goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Meet the TRIO Team&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our TRIO team is here to support you throughout your Middlesex College journey.
