In 2020 we expanded services that address a broader range of basic needs insecurity, such as those related to housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, technology, WIFI access, etc. We are dedicated to connecting our students with community resources that will improve their health, wellness, and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Who can use the Community Resource Hub &amp; Food Pantry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who are currently enrolled in credited academic courses at Middlesex College are eligible to register with the Hub &amp; Pantry and access services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">What services are available?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chromebook Loaner program \u2013 <\/strong>A limited number of Chromebooks are available for students to borrow from the Resource Hub free of charge. This can be requested when students register with the Hub &amp; Pantry (see below for registration information)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Food Pantry<\/strong> (weekly grocery shop, daily grab &amp; go snacks, meals prepared by our HCD students, new Lunch Club program) \u2013 Visit during regular pantry hours or by appointment. Bring one reusable grocery bag. *Pantry access is limited to registered student shoppers for purposes of privacy, health and safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parenting Student Diaper Program<\/strong> \u2013 Parents\/legal guardians with children in need of diapers can verify their children\u2019s birthdates and request this service within the Pantrysoft Hub &amp; Pantry registration. Diaper pick up is available monthly during regular pantry hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Resources and Referrals<\/strong> to additional support and services (SNAP, housing, etc.) \u2013 Stop by the Community Resource Hub or email us.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student Emergency Grant<\/strong> \u2013 Application and information are available within Pantrysoft Hub &amp; Pantry registration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/visit\/bus\/nj-transit-student-discount\/\">NJ Transit Student Discount Program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Middlesex County Community Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.middlesexcountynj.gov\/find-programs-and-resources\/services-locator\">Middlesex County Services Locator<\/a> \u2013 Connecting individuals and families to supportive Services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.middlesexcountynj.gov\/government\/departments\/department-of-community-services\/replenish\/need-food-assistance\">REPLENISH Directory<\/a> \u2013 Need food assistance? The REPLENISH Directory is a resource tool to direct people to an agency in their area that can provide them with emergency food assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">How can students access services?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Currently enrolled students seeking services must register online with the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.pantrysoft.com\/login\/middlesexcollege\"><strong>Hub &amp; Pantry<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><br><br><strong>*Please Note: you cannot register on Pantrysoft until the first day of the semester in which you are enrolled.<\/strong> The software does not recognize your eligibility until the courses you are enrolled in are <strong>active<\/strong>. For example: students taking classes during Fall 2024 can only register with the pantry between September 3 \u2013 December 13.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring your Middlesex College Student ID card with you to the Hub &amp; Pantry during drop-in hours or by appointment (contact <a href=\"mailto:resource_hub@middlesexcc.edu\">resource_hub@middlesexcc.edu<\/a>). Student ID cards are available at West Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Where is the Hub &amp; Pantry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Location<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The lower level of the College Center (Hub: room 170, Pantry: room 171)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The entrance is on College Drive East at the rear of College Center, across from the Physical Education building, between parking lots 16 and 3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visitor lot 3 only (only while shopping)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/1\/viewer?mid=1y3leziaqcAnVQp8_4Nde9ZW_vs_vfeg&amp;ll=40.50534909936537%2C-74.36633467556643&amp;z=17\"><strong>(view map)<\/strong><\/a>, student parking lots 1, 2, and 4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For 15 minutes in the designated \u201c15 minute Pantry parking\u201d spot in staff parking lot 16.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*Do not park in the handicapped parking area unless you have a handicapped license plate or tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">How can I find out more?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check your student email account regularly for pantry news and other resources.
