{"id":249,"date":"2022-08-30T16:19:10","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T20:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/middlesexcollege.edu\/student-life\/?page_id=249"},"modified":"2025-02-05T09:57:48","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T14:57:48","slug":"current-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/middlesexcollege.edu\/student-life\/disability-services\/current-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Current Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Returning students with disabilities who request academic accommodations must follow the following procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Classroom accommodations forms are developed each semester for the student\u2019s classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources Counselor meets individually with the student to define necessary accommodations for classes and a \u201cClassroom Accommodation Form\u201d is developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student is given copies to give to their instructors. Failure to hand the form into you instructor will mean that they have not been notified of your need for accommodations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students are encouraged to discuss their needs with faculty at the beginning of each semester.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This accommodation procedure is repeated <strong>each semester<\/strong>, at the student\u2019s initiation. If a student needs only a copy of what was prepared in a prior semester, they may contact the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources at 732.906.2546 and ask that the forms be prepared for pick-up.
