Students are required to submit an <a href=\"\/registrar\/add-drop-a-class\/\">Add\/Drop Change Form<\/a> to the Enrollment Services Office in West Hall, or use <a href=\"https:\/\/middlesexcollege-ss.colleague.elluciancloud.com\/Student\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FStudent\">Self Service<\/a> to withdraw online from course(s) prior to the end of the withdrawal period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Withdrawal Dates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Summer Session<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Last Day to Withdraw<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">1st 7-Week Courses<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">June 10<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">2nd 7-Week Courses<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">July 29<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Full Summer Term Courses<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">July 14<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prior to the Start of Summer 2026 Session and Through the First Two Meeting Days of the Class<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to the first meeting day of class and through the first two meeting days of a summer class, dropping a course has no effect on your Grade Point Average (GPA) and the course is not recorded on your permanent academic record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Third Day through the End of the Withdrawal Period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning the day after the second class meeting of a summer class through the end of the withdrawal period, a grade of \u201cW\u201d will appear on your permanent academic record. The dropped course will be designated as having been taken one time, according to the Repeated Course requirement in the College Catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For All Withdrawals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should retain a copy of the <a href=\"\/registrar\/add-drop-a-class\/\">Add\/Drop Change Form<\/a> given by the Enrollment Services Office or the <a href=\"https:\/\/middlesexcollege-ss.colleague.elluciancloud.com\/Student\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FStudent\">Self Service<\/a> confirmation of the withdrawal transaction with their permanent records. Withdrawal from a developmental course may limit the courses for which one may register for next semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"\/registrar\/add-drop-a-class\/\">See instructions for Course Schedule Changes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bb-primary-1\">Refund Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In computing refunds for withdrawals, the date of withdrawal is the date the Enrollment Services Office receives your completed <a href=\"\/registrar\/add-drop-a-class\/\">Add\/Drop Change Form<\/a> or the date that your withdrawal is submitted through <a href=\"https:\/\/middlesexcollege-ss.colleague.elluciancloud.com\/Student\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FStudent\">Self Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refund Schedule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Refunds for summer sessions are based on start date of courses as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Withdrawal Period<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Percentage Refunded for Tuition\/Fees<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Withdrawal prior to the date of the first scheduled class<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">100%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Withdrawal during the first and second meeting sessions of the course<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">75%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Withdrawal during the third and fourth meeting sessions of the course<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">50%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Withdrawal after the end of the fourth meeting session of the course<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">No Refund<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summer 2026 Sessions Registration Dates Please note that Self Service portal will be offline beginning at the close of business on March 5, 2026 through March 15, 2026.
