Debt-Free College<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By keeping tuition and fees low and working with each student to provide generous financial aid packages in the form of grants and scholarships (not loans), Middlesex College students typically do not have to take out loans, which must be repaid, to get a college degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n

Grants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We offer sizable grants that cover much, if not all, of tuition costs for students who meet eligibility requirements, including a Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG)<\/a> that provides free tuition for students from families who make less than $65,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarships<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since 1967 the Middlesex College Foundation has distributed more than $19 million in scholarships, financial aid and grants to more than 19,000 deserving students. Complete just one application to apply for over 150 different scholarships on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply for Financial Aid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Getting financial aid starts with submitting the financial aid application known as \u201cFAFSA.\u201d To get started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create your federal student ID<\/strong><\/a>, which you will need to open, sign, and correct your application.
    (Note: If you are a dependent student, one of your parents, even if undocumented, will also need to create an ID.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Create your New Jersey State account (HESAA) at njfams.hesaa.org<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note: Wait a few days for your FAFSA to process, then go to the NJFAMS portal to create an account and complete your state aid profile.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
