Entrance Counseling takes about 30 minutes to complete and it must be completed in a single session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/mpn\/?mpnType=subUnsubMpn\">Complete&nbsp;the&nbsp;Loan Agreement<\/a> for a Subsidized\/Unsubsidized Loan (MPN)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Master Promissory Note<\/em>&nbsp;(MPN) is a legal document in which you promise to repay your loan(s) and any accrued interest and fees to the U.S. Department of Education. It also explains the terms and conditions of your loan(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n<div class=\"section__box\" >\r\n  <div class=\"section__box-inner\">\r\n    <div class=\"section__box-content\">\r\n      <p>Both Entrance Counseling and the MPN will ask you \u201cschool information.\u201d Select \u201cNew Jersey\u201d as the \u201cSchool State\u201d and \u201cMiddlesex College\u201d as the \u201cSchool Name.\u201d<\/p>\n    <\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Request a new loan via Self Service<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under \u201cFinancial Aid\u201d select \u201cRequest a New Loan\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"616\" height=\"328\" src=\"https:\/\/middlesexcollege.edu\/financial-aid\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2022\/08\/self-service-request-new-loan.png\" alt=\"Use the navigation breadcrumbs to request a new loan.
