Program Criteria and Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GPA Requirement<\/td>Minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale (see \u201cHow your GPA will be calculated\u201d for details).<\/td><\/tr>
Science Courses<\/td>\u201cC\u201d or higher in both Laboratory Biology and Laboratory Chemistry (High School or College). College-level sciences weighted slightly higher.<\/td><\/tr>
TEAS VII Exam<\/td>Required testing for selective health programs.<\/td><\/tr>
College Testing Exemption\/Developmental Coursework Completed<\/td>Developmental Coursework must be completed by end of winter session (January 16, 2026) or a testing exemption must be received by January 16, 2026.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Once Accepted into the Program<\/th>Details<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
Medical & Vaccine Requirements<\/td>Must meet all clinical agency medical and vaccine requirements.<\/td><\/tr>
Background Check and Drug Test<\/td>Satisfactory results required.<\/td><\/tr>
Health Insurance<\/td>Proof of current health insurance required.<\/td><\/tr>
Program Deposit<\/td>$709 non-refundable deposit due April 17, 2026 (fee subject to change annually).<\/em><\/td><\/tr>

Selective Health Program Information Session<\/h4>\n

It is highly recommended that you attend a Selective Health Program Information Session prior to applying. Seats are limited! Sessions are listed on the Health Programs homepage.<\/p>\n

Application Portal<\/h4>\n

Complete an online application between September 2, 2025 – December 12, 2025 deadline.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The non-refundable application fee is $25. If you are a current Middlesex College student, please do not use your Middlesex College email address when applying.<\/p>\n

Once you complete your dental hygiene application, your application portal will be activated.<\/strong>\u00a0Your application portal will provide you with a list of required documents needed to complete your application process.<\/p>\n

Your application portal will be reviewed for receipt of submitted documents. Additional documents may be requested during portal updates. Please review your portal on a regular basis.<\/p>\n
